Meet the Committee

Welcome to the NCSS Virtual Conference
Greetings brothers, sisters and friends. I welcome you to the virtual instance of this year’s 44th Annual National Christian Singles' Seminar. As the committee Chair, we believe this year’s format is supportive, well-balanced and relevant to our lives and the circumstances facing us. Our
committee is excited, vigilant and devoted to this work. While we may not be able to meet in
person, we believe that our time together will go a long way towards enhancing our Christian
faith, deepening our knowledge and broadening our communal fellowship.
We are excited to have Crenshaw Church of Christ serve as the virtual host congregation for
this event. Crenshaw is a great congregation and I have enjoyed my commitment there over
the past 3 years.
This year’s theme is Seeing Christ in Your Crisis: It’s Still Planting Season. We’ve built upon this theme through further
exploration of Psalms 1:3, “And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season;
his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”
We understand that this year’s conference is different. It had to be. However, it still rings true to the years of rich history
preceding it. Please register and come to our virtual space where can engage, grow and connect - all while fellowshipping
with new and old friends from across the globe. We look forward to seeing you on September 12, 2020.
In Christian love,
Bro. Cobbie Matthews
