Living, Loving and Leading according to God’s will
Saturday, September 5, 2020 - Men's Session - 2:30 PM - 3:20 PM

Evangelist Chuncey B. Thompson is the Ministering Evangelist at the Midtown Church of Christ in Racine, Wisconsin and is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has served diligently in the ministry since childhood, and has been preaching the gospel of Christ since his early teens. Evangelist Thompson graduated from Southwestern Christian College with an Bachelors Degree in Theology and is currently enrolled as an undergrad student at Parkside University studying Psychology, to become a Psychiatrist. Evangelist Thompson is no stranger to the ministry. He comes from a preaching family; his father Dr. Steven N. Thompson Sr. currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the Central Church of Christ in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he attended since birth. Chuncey’s mission in the ministry is solely committed to evangelizing and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ solely for the purpose of saving souls through God’s Holy and divine word of Salvation. His favorite bible verse comes from Hebrews 11:1 “now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen”. He teaches all over the world that this verse is not the definition of faith; however, it is simply the result of what faith can do for you, and with that understanding of faith, we can achieve the will and the purpose of God while working to advance His Kingdom.

How To Be Complete In My Singleness
Saturday, September 5, 2020 - Banquet Speaker - 7:00 PM - 7:25 PM

Bro. Levell Kensey, a native of the Chicagoland area, has been a member of the Church of Christ since he was a child. He grew up in Harvey Church of Christ, where the late Bro. Jules Hutton was his minister. Levell started preaching in 1998, in the basement of his home. In 2001, he became the Sr. Minister of Lansing Church of Christ; where he joyfully labors to this day. Levell neither had a mentor nor a coach to help him with his ministry, so he is very familiar with stepping out on faith and allowing the Lord to direct his steps. Walking alone with God gave Levell great insight as to what he needed to do to fulfill the purpose that God had for his life. With the help of God, Levell developed a unique way of teaching the word to whomever has an ear to hear. His ministry is not by coincidence, it’s by God’s providence.
By answering God’s call, Levell has helped, taught, and encouraged many people, and he continues to be a blessing to others in a variety of ways. Levell has a radio ministry where he has been spreading God’s word to the world for over 14 years. You can tune in to hear him proclaim the word on 102.3 FM at 8:30am each Sunday morning on the radio or at (rejoice102.com). Levell’s footprint extends further than his radio ministry. With the assistance of Light and Salt Gospel Media Ministries, Levell’s Sunday Morning sermons are captured live each week via YouTube.
Levell is well known for his passion, influence, leadership and innovation. In addition to being a full-time minister, Levell is an engineer, and recently retired from Nokia in September of 2019, after a successful career of 27 years. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Computer Science.
Bro. Kensey has an awesome 14- year old son who is also named Levell. Being retired from his secular job, Levell enjoys raising and nurturing his son, traveling, relaxing, and simply being happy. Levell is a down to earth preacher who is looking for neither fame nor to have his name mentioned among those who are considered great. He is merely interested in having his name written in heaven and hearing the Lord say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”

How To Develop Relationships That Are Pleasing To The Lord
Sunday, September 6, 2020 - Evening Worship Service - 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

I’ve been the assistant minister of Harvey for 2 and 1/2 years now. I’ve been preaching for about 5 years. About 3-4 years ago, is when Minister Gerald Walker gave me the honor of mounting the pulpit of Harvey, and I’ve been serving there ever since. When I’m not in the pulpit, I’m being a dad to my 4 year old son who is my everything, working as a full time Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, and running the SOULdierhood ministry. SOULdierhood is a mentoring program that brings the physical, mental, & spiritual together for young men who are targeted by gangs, low self-esteem, mental health, & pressures of being a young black man in today’s society. We box, we weight-lift, we play basketball, but most importantly we fellowship with brotherhood and unity as soldiers of Christ in a world where such a thing is a rarity.
